William Morris Antiscrap

In support of the William Morris Gallery, which is under attack by Waltham Forest Council, Antiscrap has organised two events for Walthamstow Arts Week (1 to 9 September 2007). It is calling on artists to submit work inspired by William Morris for a special exhibition Inspired, to be held in the Wood Street Antiques Market from 1 to 8 September. The deadline for submissions is 31 August. Email exhibitions@antiscrap.co.uk for details. On Sunday 9 September Antiscrap will host a guided walk tracing the Council's cultural vandalism in Waltham Forest: Loakes & Co. Trail of Destruction.
