That black-and-white photo of Carla Bruni in the buff which hit the headlines a few weeks ago (CLICK) fetched £45,000 ($91,000) at Christie's New York auction, bought by an anonymous Chinese art collector. But an old photo of "sex kitten" Brigitte Bardot fetched twice that figure: £90,000 ($181,000). Hard cheese, Carla. Better luck next time. Tell hubby the price had nothing to do with politics.
