Hockney Donates Big

David Hockney has donated his jumbo painting Bigger Trees Near Warter - 40ft by 15ft - to Tate Britain in London. This monster was custom made for last year's Royal Academy of Arts Summer Exhibition, where it occupied an entire wall (CLICK). I guess Hockney needs the garage space. Jumbo will be displayed at Tate Britain in 2009, if Sir Nick can find wall space for it.
