Strange Meeting

Here's another story the BBC has just found: John Atkin's Strange Meeting (2007) in the Beijing Olympic Park. Coxsoft Art News covered this story back in January (CLICK). Now Auntie has a video (title link). This abstract beat 2,500 entries to gain pride of place in the park. It's based on a Wilfred Owen poem about the ghosts of two soldiers killed in World War I - one British, one German - whose spectral meeting is one of reconciliation. Nice piece of rock, too solid-looking for ghosts, but the Chinese loved the poem.
