Sovereign Euro Art Prize

The 2008 Sovereign European Art Prize exhibition opened on Wednesday at the Embankment Galleries, Somerset House, and continues until 10 October. The winner will receive 25,000 Euro thingies. The standard of work in the Finalists Gallery (title link) is far higher than the Threadneedle Figurative tosh, and you can vote online for one of 32 finalists, rather than a mere 7. You need to open an account to vote, but it's no great hassle. Guess which gobsmacker I voted for.
