More Redbridge Victims

Ghetto Redbridge "A better place to live" is back in the news. Early this morning two youths were stabbed near Central Library in Ilford. A 19-year-old was stabbed to death. A 17-year-old is in hospital. Police made two arrests. I know a number of people who have joined what BBC News calls "white flight" to escape crime in Redbridge. The Council's adopting a more honest slogan is long overdue. How about: The borough where the police daren't venture out after dark? (The bus shelter opposite my house has been smashed five times this year! No arrests.)
