David Shepherd CBE

It takes a long time for a member of the royal family to get round to pinning an honour on somebody's chest. Back in June I reported that David Shepherd, the UK's top wildlife artist, had been awarded a CBE in the Queen's Birthday Honours list (CLICK). Yesterday the Prince of Wales finally got round to giving David his CBE at a ceremony in Buckingham Palace. Six months! Better late than never, I suppose. Congratulations, David.
