Josie Russell Art
The media spotlight has been on plucky Josie Russell ever since she was the victim of an horrific hammer attack when only 9 years old. She has since grown into a beautiful young woman, gained a degree in graphic design and has now launched her first art exhibition at Plas Newydd, a National Trust property on the island of Anglesey in Wales. Her pictures are made of recyclable materials - fabric, buttons, beads, ribbons and so on - and sell for £200 or less. Her exhibition seems to be getting more publicity than the Turner Prize.
