Bloggers Blocked

Bloggers blocked in Turkey - 600,000 of them - due to an insane court ruling over a copyright complaint about Spor Toto Super League football matches by satellite TV firm Digiturk. Instead of blocking a few blogs that were streaming pirated football matches, the court takes down every blogger in Turkey! Yet again Turkey's third-world legal system proves the country is totally unfit to join the EU. Google, which owns Blogger, is being very polite about it, pointing out that it does have a complaints procedure.
