Ice Art Champs

The results of the BP World Ice Art Championships 2011 at Fairbanks, Alaska, are in. Junichi Nakamura (Japan) and Benjamin Rand (USA) won both the Artists Choice Realistic award and first prize in the Single Block Classic Realistic Category with their ice toucan It's Mine (CLICK). The Multi Block Classic winners were a four-man team of Japanese artists - Junichi Nakamura, Shinichi Sawamura, Yoshinori Mabuchi & Koji Murakami - with their sulphur-crested cockatoo in an incredibly fragile ice cage: Let It Be (CLICK).
