If you haven't come across the 3D pavement art of Kurt Weiner, master of optical illusions, prepare to be gobsmacked. The Telegraph has posted an online gallery of his work (title link). This feeble thumbnail shows an illusion he created for Eurostar in 2007. No, it isn't Piccadilly Circus Underground Station peopled by famous characters such as Sherlock Holmes and Dr Watson. That's the illusion. The sign above the two real people on the right reads LONDON now just around the CORNER. The book of his art will be published in August: Asphalt Renaissance: The Pavement Art and 3-D Illusions of Kurt Wenner by Kurt Wenner, B. Hansen and M. Hospodar. You can pre-order on Amazon.
