Canada Mint Coins

The Royal Canadian Mint has unveiled its new commemorative coins to mark the wedding of Prince William and Kate Middleton. The 25-cent coin on the left features a colour portrait of the couple. The $20 coin (about £12 in Brit. currency) boasts a sapphire-coloured crystal inlay representing the engagement ring the prince gave to Miss Middleton. Its image of the couple is a lot closer to reality than the pig's ear our own Royal Mint created for its £5 Alderney Crown (CLICK).
