Serpentine Pavilion 2011

The Serpentine Gallery in London has released this artist's impression of the Serpentine Gallery Pavilion 2011 by Swiss architect Peter Zumthor. This is the 11th commission in the Gallery’s annual series, which for most of us is a colossal waste of money. This one looks a cut above the rest, because Zumthor's design includes a central garden by the Dutch designer Piet Oudolf. At last, a design which accepts that the Gallery stands in a park!
