Pastel Society UK

On 20 April the Mall Galleries in London opens its doors to the Pastel Society's annual exhibition: Colour 2011: Pastel Society UK. The artists will include accomplished non-members from open submission as well as society members. The above painting is Farms and Barns Yorkshire Dales II by Norma Stephenson PS. Admission is £2.50, silver surfers £1.50. There will also be a series of workshops. Ken Paine will tutor Portraits and Body Language on 21 April from 10:30am to 4:30pm. Jenny Halstead will tutor Sketch Book to Finished Painting on 22 April, same times. John Tookey is Saturday's tutor and there are life classes on Wednesday and Sunday 1 May.
