Political Passé

Tate Passé or Tate Modern as it is better known has got political over the detention of Ai Weiwei by Chinese authorities. This sign has appeared along the top of the London gallery, which currently houses Weiwei's lead-heavy Sunflower Seeds, more fool Unilever. Release Ai Weiwei is a message we can all agree with, although I still regard his claim to be an artist as false. What will happen to his poisonous ceramic seeds if he remains in detention? They can't be dumped; they're toxic waste.
