Golden Nit

The Tate Movie Project, which has involved thousands of children across the UK, has been brought to life by Aardman Studios, but not with the Claymation technique used in Wallace and Gromit. Aardman have animated the children's drawings of the characters they suggested for the movie. To be honest, I can't imagine adults queuing for a feature-length movie of kiddie pics, but see for yourself by clicking the title link. Nine-year-old Londoner Sliman Al-Jamali chats about his character Fireboy. People tend to make fun of what scares them. The kids chose the title The Itch of the Golden Nit (2011). Nits are the eggs of head lice, sometimes called nits too. Says a lot about life in the UK! The movie premieres in June.
