Fake or Fortune? 4

Tomorrow sees the 4th and final Fake or Fortune? on BBC1 at 7pm. What an amazingly riveting series this has been! Last in line for the gumshoe treatment by Fiona Bruce, Philip Mould and Dr Bendor Grosvenor is this Man in Oriental Costume by Rembrandt or by the "Studio of Rembrandt". If this is by the master, all I can say is that he had a very bad day. We'll see what hi-tech wizardry reveals. This painting was one of many stolen by the Nazis from Jewish families. The other aspect of the team's detective work is to find out how this "wanted" painting turned up in a South African auction (title link).
