Scream Now

London based glamour photographer Derrick Santini is one of 7 artists showing their work at the Scream Gallery in Bruton Street, Westminster. The exhibition Scream Now opened yesterday and runs until 27 August. Shown is a detail from Santini's Blue Nude Descending A Staircase, a 5 x 4 ft lenticular lightbox depicting a statuesque Nubian nude, observed from several viewpoints and illuminated with a midnight blue light. This isn't a hologram, but the lenticular process used by Santini produces a similar illusion of depth and animation, with the naked black model appearing to descend a staircase (title link).
