Asia House Show

Asia House in London has opened the first major loan exhibition of art by George Chinnery for over 50 years: The Flamboyant Mr. (sic) Chinnery: An English artist in India and China (title link). About 100 oil paintings, watercolours and drawings have been gathered for the show, from The British Museum, V&A Museum, National Portrait Gallery, British Library, The Courtauld Gallery and from private collections. Most of these loans haven't been seen by the British public before. And entry is free! The exhibition runs until 21 January 2012.
