Tintin Trouble

I see Tintin is in trouble again. This time Hergé's lad with the quiff has fallen foul of political correctness. The Adventures of Tintin: Tintin In The Congo has been deemed racist and has been relegated to the top shelf in newsagents, where all those boobs and bums hang out. Thanks to a complaint from a civil rights lawyer married to a black lady, publisher Egmont UK has put a protective band round the comic with a warning about its content, wittering on about reflecting "the colonial attitudes of the time" and the "stereotypes of the period" which some people "may find offensive" (title link). One of the moans from the civil rights lawyer is that the rubber-lipped natives are so stupid that they end up worshipping Tintin's dog Snowy as a god. I'm surprised he hasn't complained about current BBC News reports of African witch doctors killing children and albino humans for their body parts in Juju ceremonies (CLICK). Bit racist, what?
