Performance Art

As regular readers will know, performance art finds me gobsmacked with its puerility. If you want to experience it at first hand, trot along to Cell Projects in Cambridge Heath Road, London. to gawk at Eddie Peake DEM an exhibition of performances from 8 March to 25 March. Here's the blurb. "The artist’s work could be described as a last gasp of joyful narcissism where eroticism and gender politics are at the fore. He often puts himself at centre stage irrespective of whether he is visible in the work or not and as such plays on the idea of artist as genius." Excuse me while I roll about on the floor laughing.
