BA Paint Job

Britain's obsession with the Olympics is beyond belief. British Airways (BA) is painting 9 of its A319s as Olympic doves, following plans by Brighton-based designer Pascal Anson. The first flies today on BA's 1420 Heathrow to Copenhagen flight. Above is the paint job in preparation. The BBC's favourite non-artist Tracey Emin mentored Anson throughout the project (title link). What for? To make sure it was rubbish? I wonder if the Ministry of Defence will do a special paint job on the surface-to-air missiles it's planning to install on Blackheath and Shooters Hill during the Olympic Games to shoot down any jumbos hijacked by Islamic nutters (CLICK). Why on earth did we apply to host this vastly overpriced white elephant? Answer: big business wanted to cash in.

Excellent idea and lovely painted plain. I am impressed by the idea of BA and I fully support the efforts of their painter London.

Well, it's certainly different.
