Daphne Todd

The next exhibition to open at the Mall Galleries in London is simply called Daphne Todd (CLICK). I get so fed up with long-winded, pretentious, clever-dick exhibition titles that this is something of a relief. Daphne Todd OBE is a member of the Royal Society of Portrait Painters and the New English Art Club. She was also official tour artist to HRH the Prince of Wales during the recent Royal Tour of South Africa and Tanzania, and some of her oil paintings from that tour are included in the exhibition, which runs from 10 to 23 December. Shown here is Cement Factory. Anyone who can turn a cement factory into a work of art has serious talent!
