Dutch Italianate

From 23 January to 1 March the Mall Galleries in London will be showing Memory and Imagination: Dutch Italianate and Contemporary Landscapes (CLICK). This is the first exhibition in central London for more than ten years to reappraise the significance of 17th century Dutch artists who travelled to Italy to paint its classical scenery bathed in magical light. Adam Pynacker's Landscape with Sportsman and Game (c.1665) is one of 15 major Dutch Italianate works that will be loaned to the Mall by Dulwich Picture Gallery to hang alongside a selection of contemporary landscapes for comparison. Admission is £4, but your ticket grants 2-for-1 entry to Murillo and Justino de Neve: The Art of Friendship (CLICK).
