Modern Masters?

I'm not sure how the London Borough of Wandsworth managed to open a new museum in 2010, with recession and local authority funding cutbacks, but it did. Yesterday it opened a V&A travelling exhibition Modern Masters in Print: Matisse, Picasso, Dalí and Warhol (CLICK). Note how the V&A continues to brainwash punters into believing that junk-peddlers like Matisse, Picasso and Warhol were "Modern Masters". The exhibition of 50 prints runs for six weeks and Wandsworth - infamous for its prison - is its only London venue. Above is Picasso's Le Repas Frugal (The Frugal Meal) from 1904. Admission is £6 adults, £5 silver surfers. There is also a permanent display of Wandsworth history.
