Wallinger's Horse 2
Mark Wallinger was at The Mall in London yesterday to unveil his life-sized marble and resin racehorse, a model of the 164ft-high White Horse he hopes to erect in Kent (CLICK). In 2008 he won the The Ebbsfleet Landmark project with his proposal to build a giant horse, but then came the recession. More recently we've had the horse DNA burgers scandal, and I'm not sure this is the time to be raising £15 million for a reminder of what goes into cheap "beef" products. I'm amazed he had the talent to create this model of his proposed horse. We don't expect artistic talent from Turner prize-winners, just rubbish (CLICK).
