Whiteread Detached
Rachel Whiteread, the first woman to win the Turner Prize in 1993, has unveiled her latest load of old rubbish at the Gagosian Gallery, Britannia Street, London. Your eyes aren't deceiving you. Her exhibition Detached, which staggers along until 25 May, features garden sheds made out of concrete! Detached from the house or detached from any semblance of genuine art? No doubt Tate Britain will rush to buy one. Big Name! Turner Prize winner! Groan! CLICK for the Gagosian Gallery to see more.

Concrete tat. Absolutely. It makes a mockery of art.
