The Gruffalo Author

The latest painting to be unveiled at the National Portrait Gallery in London is of Julia Donaldson (2013), author of The Gruffalo, whose two-year tenure as Children’s Laureate ended today. It was painted by Peter Monkman, who won the BP Portrait Award 2009 with his oil painting of his 12-year-old daughter Changeling 2 (CLICK).
