Yoshihiro Suda

Yesterday Faggionato Fine Art at 49 Albemarle Street, London, opened a most unusual solo exhibition by Japanese artist Yoshihiro Suda. For some reason best known to itself, the Gallery has called this show Suda Yoshihiro (CLICK). Take a close look at Yoshihiro Suda's Clematis (2013). What makes it so unusual is that it isn't a painting, but a painted wood carving made to appear as though it is sprouting from the gallery wall. Yoshihiro Suda has exhibited all over the world with site-specific works. The V&A got Weeds (CLICK). The show runs until 16 August, closed on Sundays.
