Yeo Portraits

I previewed Jonathan Yeo Portraits early in August, showing his "dark overlord of the Contemporary Art scene" (CLICK). The exhibition opens at the National Portrait Gallery in London tomorrow, in Room 41 and 41a, entry free (CLICK). Here is one of his latest paintings in the show: Portrait of Malala Yousafzai (2013). She is instantly recognisable. Yeo says "Given how much she has already been through and all that she represents to the world, it took a while to adjust to the fact that she is still a very fragile teenager" (CLICK). The portrait will be auctioned for Malala's charity fund.
