Continuing today's theme of motherhood, here's the latest from Moneybags Hirst, one of 14 giant bronze sculptures depicting the development of a foetus from gestation to birth: The Miraculous Journey (2013). This is the neonate dancing Gangnam Style. Whoop! Whoop! Its face reminds me of the mekon in Dan Dare. A go-ahead member of Qatar's royal family commissioned the bronzes to stand outside Sidra Medical and Research Center in Doha, at a reported cost of £12m.
