I really deplore the insecurity of official websites. AnonGhost, which claims to be the "voice of Palestine", is the latest terrorist group (or 13-year-old boy) to start hacking official websites. Yesterday it targeted the Nottinghamshire Police website. Last night it infested the Shropshire Fire Service home page. The website has been taken down while fire service programmers work on restoring it (CLICK). Official websites need to learn that prevention is better than cure and start employing hackers to hack-proof their websites. And why must we sign in to so many websites? It doesn't deter hackers, just spreads our IDs around the web.
