Cézanne in Britain
To mark the centenary of Paul Cézanne's death (1906) London's National Gallery is showing Cézanne in Britain until 7 January 2007, despite the fact that Cézanne never visited the UK. You won't catch Coxsoft Art at this show, because gazing at muddy daubs isn't my idea of fun. Cézanne was and still is wildly overrated as an artist. Peruse his Mountains in Provence. My compost looks more artistic.
