León Ferrari at Biennale
It seems an exhibit at the Venice Biennale doesn't even need to be original. This is the latest version of León Ferrari's La Civilización Occidental y Cristiana, which dates back to 1965 (CLICK). It's a striking work of art and its message of political protest is as valid today as it was four decades ago, but it has long since lost any shock value it may have had (unless you've never seen it before, of course). Can't Argentina come up with anything new?

Or not Catholic. This is guaranteed to get somebody to complain. I'm surprised you haven't come across it before. I did another blog on it a while ago. (See what you miss when you get too busy to visit.) Try searching for Leon Ferrari without the accent.
