Julie Amero Retrial

Back in February, Coxsoft Art reported on the case of substitute teacher Julie Amero, whom a jury of 12 computer-illiterates had found guilty on four counts of "risk of injury to a minor" (her classroom computer had shown porn to the kiddies on boot-up). Julie faced up to 40 years in jail (CLICK). US justice received a massive online raspberry as bloggers and security experts challenged the prosecution case, which was utter nonsense. Instead of sentencing Julie on 6 June, Superior Court Judge Hillary Strackbein called for a new trial. Bingo!
