Banksy - Jack and Jill (Stolen!)Last week, Insurance company AXA offered a £70,000 reward for the return of two valuable L.S. Lowry paintings stolen by an armed gang in May: The Viaduct and Tanker Entering The Tyne (CLICK). Art gallery Artrepublic in Brighton, Sussex, is offering a copy of Banksy's I Fought The Law, valued at £1,000, for the return of a number of Banksy limited-edition prints stolen from its gallery in two separate break-ins (CLICK). And convicted crime boss Terry Adams' collection of stolen treasures was put on display in hopes of finding the owners (CLICK). Note: the Napoleon on display isn't the famous original The First Consul crossing the Alps at the Grand-Saint-Bernard Pass by Jacques-Louis David, but a copy.
