British War Artists

Unknown War Artist - Baghdad: the River Tigris and camp of Hygiene Section, an Indian UnitThe Imperial War Museum London is fast becoming a major art gallery. Its latest exhibition War Artists in the Middle East shows the work of British war artists dating from World War I to recent conflicts in Iraq and Afghanistan. These exhibits are drawn exclusively from the Museum's collection and some of them have never been on public display before. The exhibition runs from 8 September 2007 to 11 May 2008, admission free.
