Michael Jackson Statue

Today, Fulham FC chairman Mohammed Al Fayed unveiled a statue he commissioned of Michael Jackson, which stands outside Fulham's Craven Cottage Stadium in London. Michael is not remembered for his skills at British football! When somebody at the unveiling suggested that putting the statue outside a football stadium was "bizarre", Mr Al Fayed threw a wobbler and declared "If some stupid fans don't understand and appreciate such a gift they can go to hell." That's the stuff, Mohammed. You tell 'em. Fulham players were quick to support their boss. Brede Hangeland is quoted as saying "We have the deepest respect for everything about the chairman. If he wants to do this then it is all good”. Brede wins our prize for Crawler of The Week.
