Rossetti muse pictures

This very early drawing of Jane Morris as Lachesis (1861), one of the three mythological fates spinning the thread of life, comes up for auction at Christie's Victorian and Impressionist sale on 15 June. An unfinished painting of Jane Morris as Proserpine (1872) by Rossetti is also up for sale in the same auction. By this time they had become lovers. It shows. Click the title link for details.
