Venice Biennale Fiasco

The Telegraph has posted 30 images from the 54th Visual Arts Biennale in Venice, Italy. I warn you, most of the exhibits are ghastly. Coltro & Arrivabene's effort in the Italian Pavillion at Arsenale (2011) is one of the best (above). Desperation to be innovative seems to rule the roost. It's a sort of pathetic arts olympiad with countries spending fortunes to outdo one another and to hell with art. Click the title link and see if you can spot some.
