Memorial To 9/11

Back in March I criticized Miya Ando's ghastly "sculpture" dedicated to those who were killed in the 9/11 Islamic atrocity (CLICK). Today, London Mayor Bouncy Boris unveiled the 28ft monstrosity at a temporary location in Battersea Park, south London (title link for video). He made the excellent point that "More Britons died in that attack than any previous terrorist attack in our history". Then he ruined the effect by claiming the sculpture he unveiled was "wonderful ... brilliant". Cut out the art appreciation, Boris. It won't wash.
