British Murals 2

A fortnight ago I posted news of The Fine Art Society's exhibition British Murals and Decorative Painting 1910 - 1970, part of its campaign to save British murals (CLICK). Now that the show has only a few days left to run, the BBC has got round to adding its own tales of murals woe. David Sillito, BBC Arts Correspondent, asks "Are we allowing great works of art to disintegrate?" (CLICK). In addition, the BBC has posted a slide show of readers' photos of British murals, some new (CLICK). Shown is Emma Scutt's Mural on a School in Dagenham, Greater London (2011).
