Superhero Art Show
Did you know that this month sees the 75th Anniversary of Superman? And he still hasn't drawn his bus pass! The Art You Grew Up With gallery in Radlett, Hertfordshire, is celebrating Superman's anniversary with a Superhero Art Show featuring all the guys and gals in tights, capes and kinky boots from Marvel and DC Universe comics. An extremely rare drawing of Superman signed by his creator Joe Shuster will be on display for the very first time. There will also be original drawings by Batman creator Bob Kane. This free show will be launched on Saturday 15th June with Batman, Batgirl and The Joker in attendance. Artist Des Taylor, who has published How To Draw books on comics and manga, will be drawing superheroes to show how it's done. CLICK for details. CLICK for a BBC slide show.
