Ilissos On Loan

I referred to the Elgin Marbles campaign a fortnight ago (CLICK). If you visit The British Museum to peruse the Elgin Marbles, you'll find that one of them is missing. The Greek river god Ilissos is on loan to St Petersburg's State Hermitage Museum, which is celebrating its 250th anniversary. The Greek PM, Antonis Samaras, has thrown a wobbler over this news, saying the loan is "an affront" to the Greek people (CLICK). To me it seems a fair riposte to the dishonest propaganda campaign the Greeks are running.
