Art Down The Pan

The Italians have more serious things to worry about than Christmas. Yesterday, the Bolzano Museum of Modern Art was happily displaying a loo that plays the Italian National Anthem - Fratelli d'Italia - every time it's flushed, when the Carabinari barged in and impounded it. The museum may have committed a criminal offence by displaying the musical loo. Could this case make a legal precedent, wonders the BBC's Christian Fraser, or will it prove to be "just a flash in the pan"? Groan.
