Webber's Picasso Sale

A US judge has given Andrew Lloyd Webber's art foundation the go-ahead to sell Picasso's Portrait of Angel Fernandez de Soto. The auction, which was briefly delayed by an ownership dispute, will now take place at Christie's New York today. I reckon His Lordship will be glad to see the back of it. Imagine that thing hanging over your fireplace, like the picture of Dorian Gray when he's hit the skids. Gross! (N.B. I'm 12 hours late with this story, thanks to another Blogger crash last night.)
