Argentina at Biennale

Guillermo Kuitca - Diario (1 de diciembre 2004 al 24 de mayo 2005)I may have done Argentina a slight injustice in my previous post: León Ferrari at Biennale. Guillermo Kuitca is representing Argentina in this year's Venice Biennale. Mind you, the injustice is only slight, because this example of Kuitca's work is complete rubbish. When I asked "Can't Argentina come up with anything new?" I had in mind something artistic.

That's one groan for Emin and another for Argentina. I take it you won't be visiting the Vienna Biennale! The RA Summer Exhibition is much better: quality mixed with rubbish.

Venice! Why did I write Vienna? Must be some Freudian thing, but I can't think what.

No. Honest. I was thinking of an exhibition of Eros in modern art in Vienna. (The only work I could find was so gross I decided not to blog it.)
