The Frick Collection

This is the month to visit the The Frick Collection in New York. For two weeks the Living Hall will be closed for refurbishment and six of its paintings moved to the Oval Room, where they can be viewed in different lighting (CLICK). This includes Giovanni Bellini's Renaissance masterpiece St Francis in the Desert (c. 1480). Also, note the current exhibition in the South Hall: Frick’s Vermeers Reunited (title link).
