Art On The Tube

Ticket prices may be going through the roof and commuters are feeling the pinch, but Art on the Underground still has oodles of spare cash to commission French artist Daniel Buren to do semi-artistic thingies to the Oxford Street entrance and ticket hall of Tottenham Court Road Tube Station. You can see stripy geometric designs in this "artist's impression" of what the installation will look when the station rebuild is finished in 2016. Don't hold your breath! Why not commission Banksy?
