Never mind the riots, BBC News' obsession with the Olympic Games is unflagging. I love this headline it came up with yesterday: London 2012: Beach volleyball plays on amid riots (title link). Believe me, there were no riots on Horse Guards Parade for this practice event. The thugs would have had to confront the Household Cavalry with drawn sabres. That's what we want to see! Our fuzz are useless. Meanwhile, the BBC is still trying to figure out what those hand signals mean. "I'm going to trash Selfridges tonight and get myself a designer handbag and new knickers"?
